Ford India, the Indian subsidiary of the American multinational automaker has welcomed Mr. Vinay Piparsania as the company?s new Executive Director, Marketing, Sales and Service and he will be replacing Mr. Nigel Wark, who has been promoted to Ford Joint Venture in China. Mr. Piparsania will be operating in his position with effect from 1st September, 2012 and will be reporting to Mr. Michael Boneham, President & Managing Director, Ford India.

While welcoming Mr. Vinay Piparsania in his new position, Mr. Boneham, commented, "We are very pleased to welcome Vinay back to Ford India. His extensive marketing experience along with the rich regional perspective that he has gained from his various positions across markets in the Asia Pacific and Africa region will surely help us go further with our brand and business in India."
Under his new designation, Mr. Piparsania will be responsible for handling Marketing, Sales and Customer Service Operations. He will be working for the planned goals of launching eight new models in India in the coming years and strengthening and diversifying the reach of the sales and service touch points across the country.
Mr. Piparsania holds a degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Delhi and an MBA from the US based Tulane University. Before his appointment in the new role, he was heading the Marketing and Sales at Ford Group Philippines as Vice-President. He had successfully handled the challenging tasks of handling the product launch readiness and the dealer development activities for the launch of the all-new Ford Ranger, the all-new Ford Focus and the Ford Mustang.
He joined Ford India in 1996 as General Manager ? Sales and was highly credited for establishing a robust dealer distribution network in the country.
